    This program has been funded for the last two years by Luxottica, VSP, Essilor and recently by Transitions and it has materially moved the needle on Eye Exams in the 9 markets it is running in (including NYC). Eye Exams are up +6% vs the non-campaign markets and the growth is NOT specific to any one channel of trade. It is truly raising the water level in the category. We need to move this forward to a national program – but it will require other industry leading companies to step forward and support it. The Vision Council has recently pledged material support – but we need some of the individual company leaders in Contacts, Frames, Labs and Specacle Lenses to step up. How do we get companies off the sidelines and helping to lead with this effort?
